1998/1999 Stevens Middle School Japanese Club:
Stevens Middle School Japanese Club is the host organization for the International Project. The groundwork and
foundations are formed in this program and the students are involved in many great activities. Students are
actively involved in community service projects, fundraising activities, and cultural education.

Japanese club is off to an even faster start than last year. Mrs. Edwards leads this group of thirty students through an amazing experience. Students do not know if they will be rasing money for class projects, volunteering for community services, traveling in Japan, or learning the Japanese language. Everything in this program is a new experience, and every day new students are joining.
Students volunteer at Ediz Hook for an International Beach Clean-Up Day.
