Kristen's Letter
Dear Delegate,
Japan will be a totally new experience for you. The first time I used a Japanese toilet is scared me because I had never seen anything like it. But I had to get used to it because in Mutsu City that was pretty much the only type of toilet they had! I thought the food was okay, most of the time. Sushi was not my style. especially the raw fish, and I could only sometimes eat the rice rolled up in Seaweed. You better like Seafood if you're going to Japan! I really liked the hotels becuse we had so much freetime and we didn't always have to follow a schedule. When we went to the Nature Institute, we played a golf game, and made some neat keychains. Make sure you bring a towel, a swimsuit, and shampoo when you go. I as very surprised by how easily I got by, even though I didn't know much Japanese. After a while, bowing and eating with chopsticks became natural. Bring lots of film, because there are some awesome sights to see. I was amazed how attached I became to all the people I met! It was hard to say goodbye, so make sure you bring plenty of Kleenex! And please, if you see Mr. Ara or Mr. Abe, tell them I said Hello!
Love always,>br> Kristen
