Marie's Letter
Dear Delegate,
Congratulations! I'm very happy for you! You will have the time of your life. Japan is very fun, but there are some things you need to know. First: Money- Be prepared! I brought $300.00 and there was barely enough! You will probably spend around $50+ dollars on food, train tickets, etc... If you plan to buy lots of gifts, you may want to bring $350.00, but then again, it depends on how much you want to buy. Another important thing to remember, is to eat! Even if you're not hungry, eat anyway. You need to get used to the 16 hour time difference. Another important thing: Don't forget lots of film!!! You will need it! And, lots of tissue! You will need it at the farewell party. You get to know lots of people, and then you have to leave. It's very sad. Also, don't be afraid of the toilets. They're not going to hurt you or anything, try them! Bring lots of reading materials for the plane rides!(10 hours there, 8 hours back!!!). I hope you have a wonderful time!
Sincerely,
Marie Cook
