Tuesday May 18
4:55 P.M. Arrive Narita International Airport. We will take a private bus to the Takanawa Prince Hotel (about one and a half hour drive). After checking in, bring your luggage (maximum 2 pieces) to the hotel lobby for advanced delivery to Mutsu.
 
Wednesday May 19
Sightsee in Tokyo:
    ï  Tsukiji Fish Market
    ï  Meiji Shrine
    ï  Ginza
    ï  Asakusa Temple
    ï  Imperial Palace
 
Thursday May 20
10:00 A.M. Leave Takanawa Prince Hotel to and take a local train to Tokyo Station

10:56 A.M.  Depart Tokyo via Yamabiko Bullet Train #35
 
2:25 P.M.  Arrive at Morioka Station
 
2:50 P.M.  Leave Morioka Station via Hatsukari Express Train #11
 
4:33 P.M.  Arrive at Noheji Station - Mr. Kato will meet us

4:45 P.M.  Depart from Noheji by bus (transportation arranged by the city of Mutsu)
 
6:00 P.M.  Arrive in Mutsu at the Shimokita Cultural Hall
 
6:10 P.M.  Short welcome reception where delegation members are introduced to their host families
 
7:00 P.M.  Delegation members will pick up luggage and depart with their host families. Students will have dinner and spend the evening with them.

7:00 P.M.  Mr. and Mrs. Edwards, Mr. and Mrs. Enderle, and Pete Northrop will have dinner with the Guidance Section of the Mutsu Board of       Education
 
 
Friday May 21
School Day

8:00 A.M.  SMS students will spend the day at junior high schools
     ï  Odaira Junior High School - Jessica, Richie, Kenny, Chelsea
     ï  Ominato Junior High School - Marie, Allison
     ï  Sekine Junior High Schoo - Jennifer, Kristen
     ï  Mutsu Junior High School - Adrienne, Davion

4:00 P.M.   Return home with family to rest
 
5:30 P.M. Outdoor BBQ Party at Masakari Plaza
 
 
Saturday May 22
Sightseeing Day

8:20 A.M.  Everyone meets at Shimokita Cultural Hall
 
8:30 A.M.  Leave for a day of sightseeing around Shimokita Peninsula:  Mt. Kamafuse Observatory, Mt. Osorezan, and a science museum. Lunch at the museum.

In the afternoon we will arrive at Ohata Youth Recreation Center where we will stay the night.

Sunday May 23
Host Family Day
 
Sports Festivals will be going on at the following schools:
    ï  Tanabu Junior High School - Richie, Kenny
    ï  Chikagawa Junior High School - Allison
    ï  Sekine Junior High School - Jennifer, Kristen

 After lunch, the Guidance Section of the MBOE will take students shopping at Maeda for souvenirs.
 
6:00-8:00 P.M. Farewell party sponsored by MIRA and Mutsu City at Mutsu Grand Hotel .

Monday May 24
8:00 A.M.  Meet at Shimokita Cultural Hall

9:00 A.M.  Leave Mutsu for Noheji Station by private bus
 
10:15 A.M.  Arrive at Noheji Station

10:28 A.M.  Leave Noheji Station via Hatsukari Express Train #12
